Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male at “America’s Best Value Inn and Suites” in Lancaster.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Shane Wallace.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:20 p.m.
The decedent was one of two men who were fatally shot at the motel during an apparent robbery. Shane Wallace died on scene. Luther Crayton was transported to a hospital where he died.
