(L.A.) Raul Chanax Hernandez, 41, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street in Boyle Heights.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raul Chanax Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP RAUL CHANAX HERNANDEZ (December 26, 1981 – June 7, 2023)

The decedent was sitting in a car when suspects drove up to him and shot at him several times.

LAPD officers were called at 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday to the 3100 block of Wynwood Lane, south of the Golden State (5) Freeway.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:07 p.m.
