LIVE broadcast RNCI Red Nation Awards Show on Red Nation Television Network

The 2017 RED NATION FILM FESTIVAL offers 12 days of cinematic excellence with 46 American Indian & Indigenous films, 22 Directed by Women that include Los Angeles, World and U.S. premieres consisting of features, documentaries, shorts.

Highlights Native Women in FILM, Red Nation Conversation Series Q & A with filmmakers, Native FILM Market, Networking Media Symposium, Two-Spirit Film Series, Indigenous Women RISE Climate Change March, Native Youth Film Series, Environmental & Social Justice Film Series, Indigenous Film Series and concludes with a LIVE broadcast RNCI Red Nation Awards from Beverly Hills.

22 Films. Directed by WOMEN. Never before in the history of cinema has there been this many women storytellers in one place, all native themed films. Another ground-breaking initiative presented by Red Nation Celebration Institute.

RED NATION FILM FESTIVAL presents works by independent American Indian & Indigenous filmmakers. The festival offers filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their work in the heart of the entertainment industry. Angelenos and audiences of all ages, interests come to Los Angeles from around the world to experience the stories and hear directly from the filmmakers themselves, coming away with a deeper understanding of Indian Country America.

RED NATION FILM FESTIVAL is the only Festival in the world that created ‘The Brando Award’; ‘The Chief Dan George Award’; ‘The Edward R Roybal Award’; The Edward Albert Jr Award in honor of their legacy in film, social and environmental justice.
