The coroner’s office identified the woman as Karen Knox.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertrophic Heart Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Obesity, Cocaine Effect

RIP KAREN KNOX (October 23, 1955 – October 13, 2012)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:20 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
