Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a group home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jacob Sheck.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP JACOB SHECK (November 10, 1997 – May 28, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:14 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
