(L.A.) Drew Ferrandini, 39, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Drew Ferrandini.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:25 p.m.

This is a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much in one go.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents, i.e., unintentional deaths, under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
