Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Jennette Spears.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Hypoxic Encephalopathy
Cause of Death B: Effects of Trazedone [sic]
Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease and Medical History of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:11 p.m.
