(L.A.) Rolfe Newman, 41, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rolfe Newman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Cocaine

RIP ROLFE NEWMAN (December 19, 1981 – May 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:10 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
