(L.A.) Michael Zitella, 32, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Michael Zitella.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Huntoon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Intoxication

RIP MICHAEL JAMES ZITELLA (January 8, 1990 – September 5, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.

Michael James Zitella of Lancaster was arrested by LASD deputies on February 8, 2019, on a charge of kidnapping.

At the time of his arrest, he stood 5 feet 8 inches and weighed 190 pounds.

He also had at least three DUI Alcohol/Drugs arrests between 2015 and 2019, in the Lancaster area alone.
