Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Michael Thompson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:50 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
