Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Silvano Oakley Russell.

Height: 5 feet 9 inches / Weight: 165 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

As Silvano Oakley, the decedent was arrested by LAPD in 2015 for unlawful possession of cocaine base for sale or purchase for purposes of sale.
