(L.A.) Myong Lee, 76, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 76-year-old Korean female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Myong Lee.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Fentanyl Use

RIP MYONG LEE (February 5, 1947 – February 28, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 5, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

Quite an advanced age to die from fentanyl.
