The coroner’s office identified the teen as Jonathan Alfaro of Palmdale, California.

Cause of Death: Traumatic Head Injuries

The decedent was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center, located at 1600 West Avenue J, Lancaster, CA 93534. He expired in the hospital about two and a half weeks after the initial accident. His family would file a lawsuit against the school before the end of the year.
