Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mauricio Solis Cruz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: ASCVD; Glycosuria; Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:54 p.m.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.
