RIP JOSEPH GUERNSEY (August 2, 1964 – April 23, 2017)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

Zolpidem (commonly known as Ambien) is a sedative used for insomnia. While it can be effective when used as prescribed, misuse can lead to serious health risks, including dependence and overdose.

Quetiapine (Seroquel) is an antipsychotic that can also be abused for its sedative effects. It has been implicated in several overdose cases, particularly when combined with other depressants.

Chlordiazepoxide (Librium) is a benzodiazepine often prescribed for anxiety and withdrawal symptoms. Like other benzodiazepines, it poses a risk of overdose, especially when mixed with alcohol or opioids.
