(L.A.) Christopher Desabia, 54, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Desabia.

Manner of Death: Undetermined

Cause of Death: Alcohol Intoxication and Effects of Oxycodone and Chlordiazepoxide

Other Significant Conditions: Recent Scalp Trauma (Sutured), Remote Head Trauma (Operated), Laennec’s Cirrhosis, and Hypertrophic Heart Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:20 a.m.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.

Chlordiazepoxide is a long-acting benzodiazepine and is an FDA approved medication for adults with mild-moderate to severe anxiety disorder, preoperative apprehension and anxiety, and withdrawal symptoms of acute alcohol use disorder.
