(L.A.) Wenceslao Avilez De Jesus, 60, Died in a Cargo Container

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latin American male that occurred in a cargo container.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wenceslao Avilez De Jesus.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP WENCESLAO AVILEZ DE JESUS (September 2, 1962 – January 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:44 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

There are about nine records in the medical examiner’s database that list “cargo container” as place of death.
