Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Daniel Ursitti. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Dejardin.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP DANIEL ANTHONY URSITTI (June 26, 1995 – March 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:28 a.m.

The decedent was killed in the 700 block of West Owen Court in Altadena’s gated La Viña community. He was shot in his bed during a home invasion.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called at 2:34 a.m.
