(L.A.) Eleazar Xicara Guinac, 32, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latin American male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Eleazar Xicara Guinac.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:31 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

The decedent’s name appears to be Guatemalan.
