(L.A.) Rachell Saucedo, 41, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latin American female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Rachell Saucedo.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Wright.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism, Clinical

Cause of Death B: Obesity

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes; Congestive Heart Failure; Effects of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Fentanyl

RIP RACHELL MARIE SAUCEDO (October 9, 1981 – March 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:36 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
