Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence in Downey.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Javier Ordonez.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head
Other Significant Conditions: Multiple Sharp-Force Injuries of Neck and Torso

The decedent was shot dead by police after he had apparently killed two members of his family in the 11800 block of Downey Avenue. He may have been attacked by his son.
