(L.A.) Sera Aintablian, 20, Died in a Freeway Accident

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old female of Armenian ethnicity that occurred on a freeway.
The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Sera Aintablian of Pasadena, California. Born in Lebanon.

The decedent was a UCLA student.
According to California Highway Patrol, she was the driver and sole occupant of a car that crashed on the eastbound 101 Freeway. The vehicle was headed towards the 134 Freeway, when it suddenly swerved back towards the lanes of the 101.
She apparently had lost control and the vehicle hit a guardrail. Half the car was left on the freeway, the other half ended up off the freeway. The force ejected her from the vehicle.
A second car that was traveling by at the time ended up being hit as well. The two occupants of the second car were rushed to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The victim’s boyfriend had been on the phone with her shortly before the crash. When the call suddenly dropped, he became concerned, drove to the area, and arrived at the scene of the wreck.
