(L.A.) David Pulido, 40, Died at a Private Residence
Case Number: 2026-10606
Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as David Pulido.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Asphyxia Due to Upper Airway Obstruction (Choking)
Other Significant Conditions: Excessive Ethanol (Alcohol) Ingestion and Recent Cocaine Use
RIP DAVID PULIDO (April 11, 1986 – July 4, 2026)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday night.
Being very drunk can impair consciousness, coordination, and protective airway reflexes, increasing susceptibility to choking. Drug use suggests poor decision-making in life.
In the medical examiner’s parlance, “private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own home.
