Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Henry Muñoz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Fentanyl Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Cannabis Use; Obesity

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
