(L.A.) Franky Salais Cardenas, 30, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Franky Salais Cardenas.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday morning.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-July, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s surname as Carde.
