(L.A.) Jose Gonzalez Gutierrez, 21, Died on the Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Latino male that occurred in the Diamond Bar area.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jose Gonzalez Gutierrez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday morning.

Location: State Route 57 North toward the State Route 60 East split/interchange, where the road continues as 57 north and branches to 60 east

California Highway Patrol learned of the incident at 1:46 a.m.

Preliminary investigation suggests a collision between a white Chevy Tahoe and a black Honda Civic. The Tahoe ended up against the center divider.
