(L.A.) Jorbin Castellanos Aguilera, 26, Died in Wilmington

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male in Wilmington.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jorbin Castellanos Aguilera.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP JORBIN CASTELLANOS AGUILERA (May 9, 2000 – May 9, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent had just celebrated his birthday at the Red West Pizza restaurant in the 600 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

He was supposedly trying to break up a fight between two women.

LAPD said the shooting happened at around 5:50 p.m.

The victim’s name had been broadcasted as Andres Castellas by ABC 7 and as Andres Castellano by NBC Los Angeles. He moved to the United States from Colombia three years ago.
