(L.A.) Jessica Lopez Santoyo, 24, Died on the 10 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on the San Bernardino Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Jessica Lopez Santoyo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

The incident appears to have happened at 11:57 p.m. on May 2, late Saturday night. There was an iPhone notification of a traffic collision sent to authorities.

California Highway Patrol said it was a white four-door sedan that overturned on its roof and ended up blocking the westbound express (FasTrak) lanes.

By 12:16 a.m., it was clear that there was a fatality.
