Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away on a mountainside.
The coroner’s office identified the man as John McIntyre.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday afternoon.
The decedent had been hiking on Mt. Wilson Trail in the Sierra Madre when fell about 30 feet down into a ravine.
Search and rescue crews were called to the area at around 2:00 p.m.
