Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male whose body was found in an alley in Venice.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Brian Assed.

Height: 5 feet 6 inches / Weight: 130 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Mitragynine

RIP BRIAN ASSED (January 18, 1989 – April 25, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday morning.

The decedent had just been arrested by LAPD on January 31 for vandalism.
