Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant boy as Asaiah Freeman.

Manner and cause of death have not yet been determined; the information will be added to this page as soon as it becomes available.

The child was almost five months old.
