The coroner’s office identified the young man as Ivan Plantillas.

There will be a kermes / food sale and community gathering on May 2 (Saturday), starting at 4:00 p.m. at 14578 Flanner Street in La Puente. Items that will be for sale include tacos, pozole, and drinks, with proceeds going toward supporting the decedent’s family.
