(L.A.) Ja’Heim Harris, 21, Died in an Emergency Room

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Black male that occurred in an emergency room.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Ja’heim Harris.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP JA’HEIM HARRIS ( April 11, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday night.

The decedent was shot at a gas station in Long Beach, in the 6600 block of Cherry Avenue, at around 8:45 p.m.

He was known as “Fat Boy” among his fellow gang members in the South Side Compton Crips.
