Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Galindo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Metastatic Prostatic Adenocarcinoma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent had prostate cancer, but he died from what is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
