Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Middle Eastern male that occurred on a highway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Raad Abdo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP RAAD IBRAHIM ABDO (July 1, 1952 – February 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:40 a.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway, just south of Lankershim Boulevard, in Studio City. It happened at around 2:18 am.
