(L.A.) Edward Garcia, 40, Died from Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edward Garcia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Heroin Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 17/18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Edward Garcia” in public records.
