(L.A.) Axel Chiquita Iboy, 36, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Axel Chiquita-Iboy.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered tox screening, the next public update may take six to nine months.

The decedent was from Guatemala. His family had his body repatriated.
