Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old male that occurred in a courtyard.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Reza Gerami and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

The decedent’s name appears to be Persian / Iranian. We’ve been seeing an alarming rise in suicides and drug overdoses among locals of Persian / Iranian origin since February 28.
