The coroner’s office identified the man as Dornell Crib. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Jackson.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Torso and Neck

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent had a criminal history. He was just arrested by on February 25 for drug possession. His other arrests, going back more than a decade, had been for burglary, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, reckless driving, and other offenses relating to drugs and firearms.
