Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Black male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Lashayveon Thomas.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP LASHAYVEON DEMETRIUS THOMAS (October 13, 1992 – February 22, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s name as Lasheyveon before later changing the spelling to Leshayveon and then finally to Lashayveon.
