Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as James Dear.
Height: 5 feet 11 inches / Weight: 140 pounds

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
The decedent was the rapper known as Luci4. He had just been released from jail on February 6.
In the medical examiner’s parlance, “private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own home. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
