Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Hispanic female.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Soledad Lopez Olivera.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Asphyxia by Unspecified Means

RIP SOLEDAD LOPEZ Y OLIVERA (May 1, 1978 – September 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The decedent’s body was found in the trunk of a 2007 Honda Civic, which had been towed the day before to the tow yard in the 1900 block of West Gave Avenue from the 6800 block of South Flower Street.

The discovery of the body in the car’s trunk came a day after LAPD detectives found the severely decomposed body of Celeste Hernandez Rivas in the front trunk of R&B singer D4Vd’s Tesla after it was towed from a Hollywood Hills street.
