Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Asian male that occurred at a hotel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Herrick Kang.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

On March 22, the Department of Medical Examiner withdrew their initial conclusion that this was a natural death. Results are now deferred pending further investigation.
