(L.A.) David Alfaro, 33, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as David Alfaro of Long Beach.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

RIP DAVID ALFARO (October 12, 1992 – January 18, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent was shot inside a pickup truck in the 1600 Block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Long Beach PD said the shooting happened at around 1:49 a.m.

Maliek Dontell James-Morrow, 29, and Buon Henry Um, also 29, have been arrested for this murder.
