(L.A.) Abner Ramirez Cucul, 27, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk in South L.A.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Abner Ramirez Cucul.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Cucul is a distinctly Guatemalan surname. The decedent was from Guatemala. He does have relatives surnamed Cucul and he had claimed his actual birth name was Iván Ramírez. There are media outlets in the United States who posted his name as Abner Ramirez Cruz.
