(L.A.) Carey Mitchell, 41, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carey Mitchell.

Hair: Brown / Eyes: Blue

Height: 5 feet 10 inches / Weight: 155 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Ethanol Intoxication

RIP CAREY DWAYNE MITCHELL (September 9, 1984 – December 17, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.

The decedent had at least seven recorded arrests for public intoxication in the past decade — in Burbank, Glendale, and Santa Monica.
