(L.A.) Jose Nava, 46, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jose Nava.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Pneumonia

Other Significant Conditions: Rheumatic Myocarditis, Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection, and Effects of Methamphetamine

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
