(L.A.) Aurelio Carrasquillo, 45, Died in an Ambulance Truck

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred in an ambulance truck.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Aurelio Carrasquillo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Asthma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
