(L.A.) Matthew Woodin, 39, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Matthew Woodin.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP MATTHEW WOODIN (July 13, 1983 – January 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:40 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 12, after the results of the tox panel had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
