(L.A.) Navid Shaban, 56, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Navid Shaban and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multidrug Intoxication

RIP NAVID D SHABAN (February 26, 1969 – November 14, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at a hospital.

The decedent appears to have been of Persian Jewish background.

Note that the Department of Medical Examiner has finalized and closed this case, precluding any further investigation on the part of the agency. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
